1.  This message will expire 30 June 2018.

2.  The following information provides guidance for the FY18 USAR Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer Re-Appointment and the Warrant Officer Initial selection panel dates, as well as deadlines to submit applications to the Army Reserve Careers Division (ARCD) and the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC).

3.  The November 2017 USAR Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer Re-Appointment and Warrant Officer Initial Selection Panel, will convene 14-15 November 2017.  HRC will only accept applications reviewed and submitted by ARCD. All applications must be submitted to ARCD NLT 15 September 2017. Once applications are reviewed and considered complete, ARCD will scan and electronically submit packets to HRC NLT 6 October 2017 for panel consideration and selection.  No exceptions.

4.  The March 2018 USAR Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer Re-Appointment and Warrant Officer Initial Selection Panel will convene 6-7 March 2018.  HRC will only accept applications reviewed and submitted by ARCD.  All applications must be submitted to ARCD NLT 12 January 2018.  Once applications are reviewed and considered complete, ARCD will scan and electronically submit applications to HRC NLT 9 February 2018 for panel consideration and selection.  No exceptions.

5.  The June 2018, USAR Commissioned Officer / Warrant Officer Re-Appointment and Warrant Officer Initial Selection Panel will convene 5-6 June 2018.  HRC will only accept applications reviewed and submitted by ARCD.  All applications must be submitted to ARCD NLT 13 April 2018.  Once applications are reviewed and considered complete, ARCD will scan and electronically submit applications to HRC NLT 11 May 2018 for panel consideration and selection.  No exceptions.

6.  There is no FY18 mission for USAR Initial Basic Branch Direct Appointment.  For those interested in a USAR Initial Basic Branch appointment may apply for Officer Candidate School (OCS).  Information for the OCS program can be obtained by contacting:  usarmy.usarc.arcd.mbx.hq-ops-spcmsn-organizational-mailbox2@mail.mil.
