4.  If you believe you would be a good fit for a scholastic broadening opportunity, you need to review the broadening opportunity program (BOP) catalog available at:  All requirements must be submitted prior to the program’s deadline listed at the BOP Catalog and above.

5.  Service Members selected for a broadening opportunity program incur obligations such as a three-to-one Active Duty Service Obligation (ADSO), and a 24 – 36 month post fellowship/scholarship utilization assignment, immediately following their program.  Specific pre-requisites and qualification criteria are included in the BOP catalog and should be reviewed carefully before submitting an application.
